The Morris 14U softball team finished first in each of their first two tournaments of the summer season. The team started June 6-8 with the Bison Showdown Tournament in Buffalo and won the tournament, winning all five games they played. Morris was back in action June 19-21 for the Shoreview Stampede Tournament where the Tigers finished 4-1 and won the Gold Division. 

The 14U team started off their summer in Buffalo at the Bison Showdown Tournament. On the first day during pool play, Morris won all three games, taking down the Brainerd 14U 5-2, beating Alexandria Black 14U 13-5 and earning another win 6-5 over Revolution 14U White. The following day in bracket play, Morris earned a 13-7 win over St. Michael-Albertville and in the championship game, they took down Brainerd 14U 6-2 to earn the title. 

Two weeks later, Morris competed in the Shoreview Stampede Tournament. The team started off against Mounds View and pulled off a 10-5 win. They also earned a 6-3 win over St. Paul Highland Navy. The first loss of the summer for Morris came against Centennial Lakes Welle by a score of 12-11. In bracket play, Morris bounced back with an 8-2 win over St. Paul Highland Gold and secured the Gold Division Championship with a 9-5 win over Richfield Red.

Morris was in action in North Mankato for the Peppers Classic July 3-5. Next on the schedule, Morris will play in their home tournament, the Showdown on the Prairie July 17-19 in Morris.
