Anytime Sim Sports opens in Morris

Anytime Sim Sports is a business that is appropriately named. They offer many types of
simulated sports at any time of the day or year. This new Morris business opened on
October 12, 2022 in one of the large storage units behind Thrifty Drug. The owner is
Chase Engebretson who graduated from Morris Area High School in 2020.

Chase went on to college but eventually returned home saying that college was just not
for him. Instead, he obtained his CDL license and started working at Engebretson
Disposal. His love of sports led him to try out a few golf simulators throughout
Minnesota. After playing there numerous times, he thought ‘why can’t that work in
Morris?’ and started to investigate the business prospects.

Eventually he found TruGolf with a sales person located in Wisconsin. After numerous
conversations he decided to open the business in Morris. A game simulator uses
cameras and screens to capture club and ball data at the same time. After each swing
you will be able to see distance, carry, launch, angle, club speed, ball speed, spin
and more.

The Golf mode offers 96+ golf courses with many modes of play. It has four driving
ranges for shot shaping and accuracy from different yardages along with chip and putt
ranges. The Trugolf Simulator package Chase purchased has a multisport package
that allows for more than just golf to be played. The multisport package offers
Breakaway Soccer, Slap Shot Hockey, Rally Baseball, Foot Golf, Zombie Dodgeball,
Disc-Go-Golf, Bowl-A-Rama, and a Wild West shooting game.

Chase remembers going to many hockey tournaments while in school and there was
often not much to do between games. He hopes that his new business will be able to
offer entertainment for those situations and so much more. It would be a perfect place
for birthday parties with special group rates available. It can also be the place for dates
or a night with friends. Each game can accommodate eight people.

He plans to hold some tournaments starting in December where you can sign up to play
similar to regular tournaments. He is also considering the start of a league during the
winter.

Interested parties have several options when it comes to playing at Anytime Sim Sports.
They can book for an hour which would cost $25 for the first person and $15 for each
additional person. For extra discounts and perks, customers can choose the
membership option that allows you to play any time including all tournaments. Time
slots and memberships can be booked on the Anytime Sim Sports website.

The business floor also includes tables and chairs, a pool table and dart board. Guests
can bring in their own food, beverages and snacks or have food delivered from local
restaurants.

The venue is unlike other entertainment centers in that it is locked with security
surveillance cameras at all times. Visitors and members must make a reservation
online or contact Chase to make arrangements. From there, customers will be given a
code to access the business. Hours of business operation is basically from 5 a.m. to
11 p.m. He is located very close to the GrandStay Hotel and down the road from other
hotels. The building is heated and has a bathroom inside for use by customers.

With the holiday season coming up, a gift certificate to Anytime Sim Sports might be the
perfect idea for the athlete on your list. Chase stated that this first year will be a learning
experience and he is open to changes including a larger site and more simulators. He
invites the public to come out and give it a try and to the avid sportsman, this is a way to
stay on top of your game with regular practices.
