Junior Karlie Bruns led the Morris Benson Area girls hockey team to two victories in back-to-back action against International Falls Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 and 26. Bruns recorded nine goals between the two wins for the Storm, who now sit at 3-3 after losing their home opener to Princeton Tuesday, Nov. 22.
“It was worth the five-plus-hour bus ride,” Bruns said of bringing home two wins from the small town that lies just across the river from Canada.
