Chokio-Alberta students visit the Minnesota State Capitol

On Tuesday, March 12, a group of fourth, fifth and sixth graders from Chokio-Alberta Elementary visited the State Capital in St. Paul. They toured the building and learned about the Capitol’s history, art and architecture. The group also visited with State Senator Torrey Westrom (R-Alexandria).

“It was a privilege to meet with Chokio-Alberta Elementary students who recently visited the Capitol,” Sen. Westrom said. “I always enjoy sharing more about Minnesota state government and the legislative process. Thanks for stopping by the Capitol!”
