Deborah Helen Anderson, daughter of Robert and Helen (Claassen) McNally, was born February 19, 1955 in Morris, MN. Deb grew up and attended school in Morris, graduating from Morris High School with the class of 1973.  She was united in marriage to the love of her life Claremont Anderson on December 1, 1973.  They bought their first home in Blaine where they raised their three daughters. Deb was a stay-at-home mom and was very active in her daughters’ school and extracurricular activities. Once the girls were in school, she started to fill her time by working at the local Dairy Queen for the next 23 years, and lovingly became known as “DQMAMA”.  

Deb loved spending time with all of her family and friends.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and baking, playing cards with her “card club”, and making trips up to Grand Casino Hinckley to play her favorite slot machines.  She enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, making Halloween costumes for 100+ teachers each year, and going to local theatres with her daughters.  She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan, attending all of their sporting events and music concerts.   

Deb passed away January 20, 2025 at her home in Blaine.  She was 69 years old.  She is survived by her husband, Clare, three daughters: Tara (Dave)  Munroe of Blaine, Christie (Josh) Whitcomb of Andover,  and Bobbi Anderson of Blaine; grandchildren Austin and Abby Whitcomb, Gabrielle Angwenyi and Genesis Munroe; siblings: Mark (Debra) McNally of Glenwood, Thomas McNally of Starbuck, Joel (Robyn) McNally of Morris, Kenneth (Sally) McNally of  Morris and Ruth McNally of Minneapolis; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen McNally, mother-in-law Ellen Anderson, and sister Tamera McNally.  

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31 at the Church of St. Timothy in Blaine at 11am.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
