Gerald Roles, age 85 of Lindstrom formerly of Woodbury, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023. Loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. Retiree of NSP. Lover of God and strong family man. Dedicated to his family above all else. Summers were spent camping with family & friends, winters spent snowmobiling. Long time member of Woodbury Winter Wanderers Snowmobile Club. Boy Scout Troop Leader when his boys were young. Lifelong lover of hunting & fishing. Loved spending time with his grandchildren & traveled many miles supporting them in their activities & events. Self taught jack of all trades (builder, plumber, electrician, mechanic); he could build & repair anything. Always had multiple projects in the works! Dad was deeply loved and already greatly missed.
Preceded in death by parents: Joseph and Christine; brother, Ron; sisters: Sharon and Mary; Survived by his wife of 66 years, Sylvia; children: Terri Jackson (Tom Rassett), Pamela (David) Miller, Steve Roles, and Tom (Kari) Roles; grandchildren: Jason, Nathan, Ryan, Brandon, Bryant, Cameron, Anna, Shelby, and Madison; great grandchildren: Abigail, Emerson, J.J., Mason and Addison: siblings: Joe (Bernie), Marlene Allshouse, Bob (Barb), Keith (Linda), Sandee (Ken) Passler, and Steve (Karen); sister-in-law, Sharon Roles; also by other loving family and friends. Funeral Service, 11am, Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church (8260 4th St N) Oakdale. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment: Guardian Angels Church Cemetery.
