After a slow start, the top-seeded Hancock girls basketball team ended the first half on a 14-5 run and eventually cruised to a 64-44 victory over No. 4-seeded Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley in Section 6A-South semifinals Saturday, March 4, at Minnewaska Area High School in Glenwood.
The Owls will play for the South title Tuesday, March 7, at Minnewaska. Their opponent will be the winner of No. 2 KMS and No. 3 WHN.
