Lights on the Prairie Seeks Volunteers for Holiday Display Setup

Lights on the Prairie is preparing for its fifth year and needs community volunteers to help decorate the grounds before the holiday season kicks off.

Volunteers are invited to help hang decorations and lights on Saturday, November 22, from 9am to 1pm at Pomme de Terre campground in Morris. Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the full four, organizers Mike Koehler and Tino Harris said all help is welcome.

There is no need to bring extra ladders or lifts. Simply show up ready to assist.

This year marks the non-profit’s third year hosting the display at Pomme de Terre campgrounds, following two years at the Stevens County fairgrounds.

The holiday light display will open December 5-6 and run for three consecutive weekends, Friday and Saturday from 5-9pm. For updates, follow @LightsOnThePrairie on Facebook.
