Marvin Canton Laabs, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on May 11, 1933, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, Marvin lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to those around him.

Gail Maxine Laabs, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in Collierville, Tennessee. She was born on July 3, 1934, in Holloway, Minnesota, to Henry and Irene (Jagow) Hoffman. Gail’s bright spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of many throughout her 90 remarkable years.

 Marvin and Gail  will be deeply missed, but their spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those they touched. Their legacy will live on through the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love that will continue to bind their family together.

 A celebration of Marvin’s and Gail’s lives will take place on May 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 8600 Fremont Ave. S, Bloomington, MN 55420.
