More than 200 University of Minnesota Morris students became alumni when they walked across the grassy stage on the campus mall last Saturday.

Alumnus Monti Ossenfort gave the commencement address. Ossenfort, a 2000 graduate of UMN Morris, is the general manager for the Arizona Cardinals.

Named general manager in 2023, Ossenfort has more than 20 years of experience in the National Football League, including three seasons in Tennessee and 15 years with the New England Patriots.

Ossenfort graduated from UMN Morris with distinction with a degree in economics and management, and earned a master’s degree in business administration and sports management from Ohio University
