The COVID-19 virus is isolating our senior citizens, which is for their own protection. However, there are people out there who want them to know that we are still thinking about them. Kelly Patterson of Hancock is one of these people. She started to put together care packages for the seniors to be dropped off at the nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Her packages contain items that can keep them distracted or busy. They can include books, puzzles, movies, coloring pages, stickers and other activities. They can also include snacks or treats to enjoy. She would be happy to get donations from the public for the packages. These can be dropped off at Buddies in Hancock, where she works.
