The Morris Pizza Ranch recently held a ‘Season of Giving’ campaign to show our Health Care workers how much we appreciate their work. They asked area residents to donate $5 to allow them to give a hot and fresh two piece chicken dinner to each Health Care worker in the area.
The campaign went over well as they collected enough money to give 325 meals to Care Facilities in Morris. Overall, their goal of raising $2,000 for the fundraiser was met and they are now sponsoring a similar campaign in Glenwood. They are no longer taking donations at the Morris Pizza Ranch.
They hope to also donate meals to six different facilities between Starbuck and Glenwood out of the Glenwood Pizza Ranch. To make a donation you can call them at 320-634-4261.
The Morris deliveries went to Prairie Ridge Medical Center and Hospital, Stevens County Ambulance, Westwind Village, Skyview Court and Plaza, Legacy Living, and Stevens Community Medical Center.
Rob and Mel Lucas, Pizza Ranch owners, stated that they are honored that people in the area can make this happen in this little spot in the world. “I am not able to put into words how Mel and I feel about being able to use our business to show appreciation to so many well deserving human beings,” Rob stated.
