The Hancock Owl boys basketball team was seeded No. 4 in the Section 6A-South announced Saturday, March 4.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (22-4), ranked 11th in Class A according to the March 1 MN Basketball News, claimed the top spot in the subsection with Border West (22-2) and Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (20-5) rounding out the top three.
No. 8 Benson will host No. 9 Ortonville for a play-in game Monday, March 6. The winner of that game will play BBE Thursday, March 9, in Brooten.
Hancock will host No. 5 Parkers Prairie at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in Hancock.
