In an effort to promote increased voter participation among our student-athletes, the University of Minnesota Morris is canceling all athletic activities on Nov. 3. No practices or meetings of any kind will be held on Election Day.
“Voting is one of the most important rights and responsibilities that we have as American citizens and Cougar athletics is excited to provide increased opportunity for our student-athletes to be active participants,” said Director of Athletics Matt Johnson. “UMN Morris has a special caliber of student and we support our Cougars’ participation in this important process.”
The University of Minnesota system is providing fast and simple voter registration across all five campuses and a specific page is available for UMN Morris students.
