Gymnastics: Kill, Snell earn all-WCC for Tigers

Taylor Kill and Callie Snell earned all-conference for the Morris Area / Hancock / Chokio-Alberta gymnastics team at the conclusion of the West Central Conference meet Friday, Feb. 7, in Melrose. Faith Butterfass was named honorable mention and stuck her beam routine at the meet.

As a team, the Tigers finished third with 117.7 points.

Snell finished in sixth place in all around competition with a 30.55. She tied for 10th on the beam with perfect routine and a score of 7.5 and finished in ninth on the floor with an 8.2.

Kill finished in seventh in all around competition with a score of 29.45. She had a 10th place finish on the floor, scoring 8.15.

Tasha Koehl set a new personal best on the vault with a score of 8.25. The mark beats her previous by 0.15.

The Tigers closed out the season at the Section 8A meet Saturday, Feb. 15, in Morris.
