It seemed like things were just starting to click for the Hancock volleyball team. The Owls were winners of four straight games after a 3-2 victory over a tough Battle Lake squad and a sweep over Rothsay last week.
Even the athletes were excited about their now 6-3 record.
In typical 2020 fashion, announced with the confirmed case at the school on Friday, Nov. 13, the Owl season was cut short due to close contact within the team. The Owls will forgo the final four games of the regular season as the group heads to quarantine.
With the new executive order announced, the Owls end the fall 2020 season 6-3 overall.
