Amateur baseball starts for Stevens County area teams
The Hancock Orphans, Chokio Coyotes and Morris Eagles all began their shortened 2020 COVID-19 amateur baseball seasons this past weekend.
The Orphans fell 3-1 to Cottonwood Saturday, June 20. Chokio lost its opener while Morris beat Dawson 6-3 Friday, June 19.
Morris and Chokio battle for Stevens County at 8 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Chizek Field in Morris.
