The West Central Retrievers Club held Field Trials Saturday, July 21, at the Heitzman Grounds north of Morris near the Pomme de Terre public access.
There were over 175 dogs that participated at the trials, West Central Retrievers Club President Dan Sayles said.
The dogs and handlers compete by retrieving birds, sometimes up to three, and get points for how well they complete the class.
Saturday’s event was an American Kennel Club event.
